09.11.2012 Change in the line-up Throes Of Dawn has parted ways with the drum player, Jani Martikkala. Jani has been a member in the band for 10 years, and needless to say, we share lots of good memories together. However, life and priorities change and we decided to part ways with mutual agreement. Juuso Backman will take the drummers seat from now on. He has impressed the band with skillful and groovy playing style that is perfectly in line with the new song material we have been working with. Juuso has previously played drums on Swath, Thales, and All Dreams Dying. Juuso shares the taste and vision of how our music should sound like, so he will be a perfect addition to the Throes Of Dawn roster. 13.03.2012 Baltic-Caucasian minitour OK friends, we said before we might have some nice news about gigs abroad, and now the gigs are confirmed! Varkaiden matkaan lähti iso osa bändin soittimista ja tarvikkeista, joista osa on tunnearvoltaan täysin korvaamattomia tai täysin uniikkeja malleja. Varastettujen tavaroiden rahallinen arvo nousee yli 10 000 euroon. Helsingin poliisilaitoksen omaisuusrikosyksikkö tutkii tapausta. Poliisi ja Throes Of Dawn ovat kiitollisia kaikista vinkeistä, jotka saattavat johtaa varkaiden kiinnisaamiseen ja tavaroiden löytymiseen. Luckily not everything was taken. Among the stolen goods are things of both financial and tremendous sentimental value, for instance the Marshall JCM800 with which the first 3 ToD albums were recorded is now gone. We are updating a list of all stolen goods in a Facebook page created solely for this purpose. Throes of Dawn appreciates all efforts in recovering the equipment!
